Refund and payout access are separate
A staff member who can view payment history does not automatically have refund, payout, or settings access. Owners and assigned payment administrators control the appropriate actions.
After a customer pays, where can I see the transaction, refund it, or check when the money is paid out?
Nexus Payments provides a merchant workspace for processed payments, refund requests, settlement history, payout accounts, and eligible instant-payout requests. Review the transaction and settlement status, gross amount, fees, and net amount with access controlled separately for viewing, refunds, payouts, and settings.
Finish Nexus Payments onboarding from Payment Processing settings. Once the merchant connection is available, open Nexus Payments to see its current connection state and activity.
Choose the date range and open Payments. Review the transaction status and available customer or invoice references before taking an action.
An authorized staff member can choose a payment and enter the amount to refund. Nexus checks the remaining refundable balance, submits the request to the processor, and records the processor refund reference and status.
Open Payouts to inspect each settlement’s status, gross amount, processing fees, and net amount. Use the actual status rather than assuming that a collected invoice has already reached the bank.
Add the supported bank account or an eligible debit card through the payout-method setup. The settings view displays connected instruments and the merchant’s payout configuration.
Where an eligible settlement and enabled debit card are available, select an amount within the available balance. Review the displayed fee and net amount before authorizing the payout request; processor eligibility and limits still apply.

The settings panel shows the payout schedule, rail, and settlement type. Changes to schedule and settlement type require processor support rather than an editable schedule control in this workspace.
On a supported iPhone with setup completed, the technician can open the invoice, choose Collect Payment, and use Tap to Pay for contactless cards or a digital wallet. Device readiness and the configured processor determine availability.
