Can I see which ad calls and website inquiries became work, and investigate failed conversion reporting?

Trace an ad inquiry from conversion event to customer work

Yes. The Conversions workspace separates calls, lead drop-offs, and web appointments and shows the available advertising and linked-record context. Inspect the event, open the related record, and review delivery status. You can queue a retry when reporting fails and mark supported Google call conversions as bad leads or spam.

Trace an ad inquiry from conversion event to customer work

  1. Complete tracking for the advertising platform

Connect the intended Google or Meta account and configure its conversion settings. Associate the funnel, widget, or tracking number with the campaign so the incoming event has useful source context.

  2. Choose the event group and date range

Open Conversions and select Calls, Lead Drop-offs, or Web Appointments. Set the date range and search the activity you need to investigate.

  3. Inspect the inquiry and connected records

Review the event’s platform, campaign and available customer, call, lead or job associations. A lead that has already linked to a job is treated differently from an unfinished lead drop-off.

  4. Check the delivery state

Read the conversion status and available error information. When a Google or Meta event needs another delivery attempt, use Retry to queue it and then refresh the event list.

  5. Mark poor-quality Google calls

For an eligible Google call conversion, mark Bad Lead or Spam when that classification is supported by the evidence. This feedback action is specific to Google call conversions; it is not available for every event or platform.

  6. Follow the outcome into attributed reporting

Use the linked customer and work records to check what happened after the inquiry. Downstream revenue conversion depends on valid attribution, platform configuration, and the recorded paid-invoice outcome.

Conversion status and campaign revenue answer different questions

The conversion event shows what Nexus attempted to report to the advertising platform. Campaign revenue reporting uses the associated work/invoice records and configured accounting basis.

Drop-offs stay distinguishable from bookings

The workspace has a separate view for captured leads that did not yet become linked jobs, alongside web appointment conversions.

Questions about this workflow

Can I retry a failed event?

Yes. The workspace has retry actions for Google and Meta events. A retry queues another attempt; review the status to confirm the result.

Can I flag a spam call?

The call-quality action supports Google call conversion events with a call ID. It does not apply to all Meta events or non-call events.

Does a conversion mean the invoice has been paid?

No. Calls, captured leads, web appointments, and paid-invoice revenue are different outcomes. Inspect the event type and linked record.
